Charles (Chuck) is the President/Owner of the SIRRUS Group.
He is highly esteemed within the Delaware Valley business
community
and, for the past 20 years, is well known for his executive
leadership in the healthcare financial management and AR
Recovery
arena.
Chuck started the company with the conviction that to succeed
in AR Recovery a few basic ingredients are required. His model
consists of highly trained staff (there is no substitute for
experience), operating under a mantle of diligence and perseverance,
coupled with expert knowledge of the insurance and hospital
industries are keys to success. This paradigm has allowed
The SIRRUS Group to recover in excess of $100,000,000 for
our clients.
Prior to starting the SIRRUS Group, Charles (Chuck) held
management positions with Hahnemann University Hospital, Abington
Memorial Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
Orthopedic Group.
Chuck is the Corporate Sponsor Chairperson for the Philadelphia
Chapter of AAHAM and has served as a Board Member of the Philadelphia
Federal Credit Union since 1997. Jennifer Reeves, Vice President
Jennifer is a Vice President for The SIRRUS Group and has
served in this capacity since 1998. Her responsibilities
include,
overseeing all projects, implementing specifications for
new projects, coding and claim error correction, electronic
billing,
zero balance audit projects as well as accounts receivable
management. Although "Jen" is involved in many
provider projects, she devotes most of her time on-site at
the University
of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) where she oversees a
team of 10 billing representatives working Accounts Receivable
for all three UPHS hospitals.
Jen came to SIRRUS from Independence Blue Cross where she
worked for 7 years as a Hospital Service Coordinator and
was responsible for training and educating 120 Pennsylvania and New Jersey
hospital
and ancillary providers on billing,
coding and contractual guidelines. She was involved in the
testing and implementation of the ANSI 270/271 and ANSI 835
transactions, EDI and created the Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery
Center and Skilled Nursing Facility Provider Manuals for the
entire Blue Cross Family of Companies.
Jennifer is a member of the American Association of Healthcare
Administrative Management.
Alexander Cibenko, Vice President
Alex is a Vice President for The SIRRUS Group. He has over
30 years of healthcare management experience and is recognized
as a leader in revenue cycle performance improvement. He
has
led the development and management of revenue cycle processes & systems
in large multi-entity health systems.
Prior to joining The SIRRUS Group Alex held positions at
The Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia and then at the
Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers of New York City
as Vice President of Patient Financial Services. In this capacity,
Alex was responsible for all revenue cycle related activities
for the organization. Of significant note, he led and managed
the consolidation and unification multiple business offices
into unified business offices (CBO's).
Alex has been a member of the Hospital Financial Management
Association since 1972. Teresa Przemieneicki, Director
Teresa Przemieneicki is a Director for The SIRRUS Group.
Teresa has over 19 years of health care serving the last
5 years
with the SIRRUS Group. Teresa's overall responsibilities
include performing, individually or as part of a multi disciplinary
team, patient financial services consulting on engagements.
Teresa is proficient in all areas of patient financial services
management including patient accounting , billing compliance
program development , patient access management, managed
care
operational impact & administration, accounts receivable
analysis, training and education, and third party recovery/reimbursement.
Prior to Sirrus, Teresa worked 15 years in hospital operations
serving as Manager of Patient Financial Services. Teresa
came
to SIRRUS from Catholic Health East, she also worked for
St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ and St. Mary's Medical
Center, Langhorne, Pa. Teresa is a member of the American
Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.
Donna Schroeder, Director
Donna is a Director for The SIRRUS Group. Donna's overall
responsibilities include performing, individually or as
part
of a multi disciplinary team,and provides consulting on patient
financial services consulting on engagements. Donna is
proficient
in
all areas of patient financial services management.
Donna comes to the SIRRUS Group from Abington Memorial Hospital
where she served for 21 years. At Abington Donna held various
management positions, Supervisor of Cash Posting, Inpatient
Accounts Supervisor, Managed Care & Commercial
Inpatient/Outpatient Accounts Supervisor, Systems Coordinator
for Professional & Hospital Services, and most recently,
Systems Manager. As Systems Manager she was responsible for
the operability of the various mainframe and niche computer
systems as well as contractual, coding, and governmental
payor
reviews and intra-departmental liaison. Donna is on the Board
of Directors for the Philadelphia Chapter of AAHAM.
Patrice Stewart, Director
Patrice is a Director for The SIRRUS GROUP. Patrice enjoys
21 years of health care billing and patient accounting experience.
Patrice's overall responsibilities include performing, individually
or as part of a multi disciplinary team, as well as, patient
financial services consulting on engagements with an emphasis
within the home health services arena.
Patrice joins the SIRRUS
Group from Abington Memorial Hospital
where she served for 21 years. At Abington Patrice served
as a Supervisor in the Home Care Department. As Supervisor,
Patrice was responsible for the management of patient accountsand
providing technical guidance and supervision to the Billing
staff. Patrice’s responsibilities included maintaining
contractual updates for Managed Care Plans,as well as,Patrice's
duties also consisted of negotiation of rates for Home Care,
Hospice, Pediatric, and Infusion services for Non-participating
carriers.
Patrice is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and
is a member of the National Home Care Association, National
Hospice Organization and a member of Philadelphia Chapter
of AAHAM.
Cheryl Sandini, Project Manager
Cheryl is a Project Manager for the SIRRUS Group. She coordinates
and manages client projects including zero balance recovery,
billing, as well as, aged AR recovery. Cheryl has over 16
years of patient financial services experience.
Prior to joining the company she worked for Frankford Hospital.
Her experience there allowed Cheryl to become expert in areas
such as: Customer Services, Cash Posting, Collections, IP
& OP Billing (paper & electronic) and AR Follow-up.
While at Frankford Hospital she also served as the Technical
Support Coordinator for Patient Financial Services. In this
pivotal position she was responsible for all of the implementation,
training and testing for any new software programs/enhancements
applied to the Hospital's patient accounting and management
systems.
Michael Costantino, Project Manager
Michael joined the SIRRUS Group in October of 2002 as a Project
Manager. Currently he splits his time between Hospital
University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and Mercy Health Systems.
At HUP Mike handles the work on unit claims and NDC coding
issues along with AR issues. At Mercy Health Mike manages
projects that include therapeutic implants and radiation
therapy
at three MHS facilities.
Michael has returned to a career in the health care industry
(he worked in HUP's business office in the early 1990's) after
working over 10 years in the publishing and circulation industry
as a project manager and budget analyst.
Michael is a member of the American Association of Healthcare
Administrative Management.
Joanne Iriana, Project Manager
Joanne is a Project Manager for The SIRRUS Group. She coordinates
and manages client projects including zero balance recovery,
billing, as well as, aged AR recovery.
Joanne has 19 years of healthcare patient accounting management
experience. Prior to joining our company she was the Manager
of Patient Accounts at Albert Einstein Medical Center, and
before that worked at Frankford Hospital in various departments.
Her experiences at these facilities makes her well versed
with varied patient accounting systems, and the management
of all aspects of patient financial services. During her tenure
in these organizations Joanne developed expertise in the areas
of: Behavioral Health Billing and AR management, Customer
Services, Inpatient and Outpatient governmental and third
party billing (paper and electronic) and all aspects and phases
of AR follow up.
Gelsomina (Jessie) Cooke, Project Manager
Jessie is a Project Manager for the SIRRUS Group. She coordinates
and manages client projects including billing, as well as,
aged AR recovery. Jessie has over 20 years of patient and
insurance financial services experience.
Prior to joining the company she worked for Prudential Insurance
Company. Her experience there allowed Jessie to become an
expert in areas such as: Customer Services, Claims Processing
, IP & OP Billing (paper & electronic) and AR Follow-up.
While at Prudential, she also served as the Customer Service
Assistant Supervisor as well as a Senior Claims Examiner.
In this pivotal position she was responsible for overseeing
a team of customer service representatives, making sure all
customer complaints & claims were handled in a timely
manner. Jessie was also involved in making decisions on improving
the quality of the insurance experience for the customers.
